SEGRITY Unveils New CEO
DENVER — February 26th, 2021 — SEGRITY (Services with Integrity), one of the leading hydropower governor and control system software and hardware developers, is excited to announce that James Volk, Vice President of Engineering, has been named the new CEO, effective March 2021.
Mr. Volk has been with the company since its inception in 2012, and he will use his 25+ years of hydro engineering knowledge and experience to continue SEGRITY’s growth as an industry leader in software and hardware innovation for hydroelectric power plants. During his tenure, Mr. Volk drove the development of more than 19 software and hardware products that improved the efficiency and reliability of hydroelectric systems around the world.
Mr. Volk, who will take over on March 1st, said “I am very excited to continue to lead the technology development and now the direction of SEGRITY to meet the needs of the hydropower generation industry. Veronica has done an outstanding job of developing the foundation to support SEGRITY’s growth in the market. I look forward to leading SEGRITY’s growth and product offerings to meet the future needs of the hydro industry.”

In addition to driving the development of innovative software and hardware solutions, Mr. Volk announced plans to roll out a comprehensive hydropower engineering training program for current and future clients.
